How come people don't see that the laws protecting/for women in the US is getting out of hand?

Men should not hit women and women shouldn't hit men. I have to disagree with cops siding with women because I have a friend who got in a fight with her boyfriend and she threw a knife at him and she was the one arrested even though they were both fighting. As far as a man raping a woman he doesn't deserve to be killed he just deserves to have his wiener whacked off. I mean if your sister or mother had that happened would you not care?
